In the sense that I wonder if perhaps they plan to reveal that Carol had some kind of Kree encounter very early on in life and perhaps something happened to her, changing her, and it is THAT event/memory/revelation that will then cause these "insecurities" or whatever they were suggesting was going to be addressed in this story, calling the validity of her life successes into question.

I'm likely reeeeeeeaching, since I'm basing this on ONE image and some nonsense teaser talky talk but... Yay Carol.
That cover is rad AF.

Love those covers, but if I had to pick one, I would go with the Quesada cover. It's cue, seeing a younger Carol looking up at the stars. It has that sense of wonder that has always helped give Carol her appeal as a character. That's what I hope this series and the movie captures to the utmost.

That panel with "Fine if you say so" is just a really bad drawing of Carol. Not sure how I feel about her in Kamala's getup I guess going back to the OG Miss Marvel suit might be a bit controversial now, or maybe it's a story thing..

Looked like interior art, preview pages. If your talking about her wearing the costume she showed up in it in the previous issue. The questionable art panel im pretty sure that's not a cover.

You said Carol was in a Ms Marvel costume. She's in Kamala's on the cover. The interior art shows Carol in her own Captain Marvel costume.

Hah, this wouldn't happen nowadays, I guess there are advantages to her current hairstyle. From World War Hulk #2.

Good to see Carol back in action with Ms. Marvel. I think those two have yet to really patch things up after Civil War II. I think they're overdue for some kind of reconciliation and I hope they get that chance.

The costume looks much better on these than before imo. I guess they made it more tight or something?
