I like to think Joey's deck and skills evolved over time. When I look at Nightshroud's deck, it feels like something Joey would use.

they did but not the level where people can say he's third best behind kaiba and yugi. also, joey's deck didnt really have a focus. it just seemed very random.

I go with Mai. Marik's deck isn't very well put together, it's designed mostly to torture his opponents and relies heavily on Ra to win

another real problem i had with the first series. the character..............weren't very deep or fleshed out. at least when compared to the other series.

Pegaus was my favorite YGO villain ever.

But the actual heroes in the first series were pretty weak. Then again, I'm a weirdo who thinks Season 1-2 Jaden is the best YGO MC so....

ditto. i'd be more comfortable with giving her better odds but once again, her record kills her, even with the seal. if yami marik has ra, then it will be hard for her to get over it if he summons it and he has a lot of ways to summon it. she really is the worst female duelist in the entire franchise.

but yusei's world was horribly corrupt where just wanting to do better for yourself is a crime and the powers that be at the time were trying to maintain the status quo of "you live in the satellite? tough shit. you stay there."
