Default What are your top 3 best & worst movies of the year?

There were alot of good films this year, more than bad films. But with that being sad there was still a bad bunch thrown in there so...

My top 3 worst movies of the year are

    1. Transformers (for obvious reasons)
    2. Lucy
    3. This is Where I Leave You

    My top 3 best are

    1. Fury
    2. X-Men Days Of Future Past
    3. The Judge

Not sure what I'd say the worst are right now. But the best were probably Big Bad Wolves, Gone Girl, and Blue Ruin.

I still haven't seen Gone Girl cause the trailers didnt excite me much but now after hearing how the critics talk about it I want to see it, I heard it was amazing

Aw man you didn't like Robocop lol? I think it was okay for a remake. But I prefer the original still.

I agree its all a matter of how I feel the day I make these lists. Like tomorrow I might wake up and feel like TWS was better than DOFP or GOTG was better than TWS. Thats how good those 3 films were to me

Sadly, from the moment I saw the 1st images of this movie I KNEW it be a bomb amount bombs, just had no grounded sense at all and looked terrible.

The Originals are late 1980's, early 1990's Era Classics! No way a reboot was needed IMO, did not even care to try with this one.

Same here, Capt was great character interaction with a new style of action and nice suprise storytelling that grounded the World War 2 and Avenger's Legend Steve in the Present day Era! Also, my Favorite Wanda Maximoff got her 1st Silver Screen Debut, that helps too! ;D

GotG was just a WHOLE LOT OF CLASSIC FUN! Classic space adventure right out of Flash Gordon, great classic sountrack, tension and comedy up to the hill!

So Yea, I agree, depends on how I feel each day, one is better then the other.

Lol the problem with TMNT is they focused too much on April O'Neals character, like we didn't need to know that weird origin story they showed or her creepy coworkers attraction to her even tho it was funny it wasn't needed. the turtles was already funny enough. But its still a great film and (I know im gonna get a lot of flak for this) but it was better than the originals in my opinion

I'm afraid I didn't see many new films this year, but of the ones I saw my favorites were Guardians of the Galaxy, The Wind Rises, and Godzilla (Planet of the Apes just bubbling under).

I can only come up with one worst: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014, such a catastrophic failure in every creative respect that I still have a hard time believing it actually exists.
