    Not really. This phenomenon happened with Uncanny Avengers. Everyone loved him during UXF.

    Besides, NOTHING will be as bad as loving Fraction/Land

    It really wasn't a good idea to have the point of view character of the "flagship" book tell the world to ignore the fact that he was a mutant, but I didn't think people would still be talking about it to this day.

    I think the reason it still rings so loud is because no other stories are servicing the metaphor of the minority/oppressed at all. Just thought of another Mike Marts question.

    nope. UXF was acclaimed for the first 18 issues then people shat all over it for the pos book it was. not bc it was offensive (although it was) but because its quality was abysmal.

    I think it was a boneheaded move, but I'm still of the view was the point is that Havok was supposed to come off as someone who has a flawed perspective. Everyone in the series has had one so far.

    That being said, the actual time travel-high stakes action/planet X reality stuff, the actual meat of the story, has been top notch
