Brand New to Image comics. I've been on a long Quest to read all X-Men related comics in order... I'm in the year 2000, so I figured while I'm doing that I'd start reading other comics that I can purchase as they come out (considering the X-Men quest may take me a decade).

Here's what I started reading and # of last issue read:
    Southern Bastards #8
    Rumble #2
    Velvet #1
    Invincible #1
    Invisible Republic #1

Huge sports fan, particularly college football, so my favorite so far is definitely Southern Bastards. Rumble is a little weird right now but I've been told to trust the creators on this one that it will all come together nicely. Velvet & Invisible Repub both very intriguing first issues. Invincible I'm not sure about but everyone says it's amazing so i will continue on.

Comics I've purchased issues for, but haven't read yet:

    Criminal
    Big Man Plans
    Postal
    Dying and the Dead
    No Mercy
    Saga

    Comics I plan to purchase:

    Nailbiter
    Scalped
    Deadly Class

I am not going to be able to keep all of these comics on my pull list as you guys call it, and will be narrowing it down after reading a certain amount of issues for each. I was hoping for any insight on other titles that may seem similar to these or just titles that you would recommend, The only thing I'd say is I'm not totally into extreme sci-fi stuff. However, I'm really trying to immerse myself in this world so I'll take any suggestions

    Thanks

You're definitely going to want to keep reading Invincible until at least issue 8 or 10ish before you can say yay or nay. I bet a lot of money it will be a yay though.

I'm amazed at how many fans of Image titles don't read Morning Glories. That, along with Lazarus, is easily the best thing Image publishes...

I think it is more of a testament to the diversity of books that Image pumps out each month. There is truly something for everyone with no shortage of choices right now. Looking at the weekly favorite Image book polls, there is usually 8-10 different books that get at least 1 vote.

Is there any end in sight for the series? I would like to read it but would rather collect it when it's done.
