Well, this is where aesthetic preference kicks in!

I love the art, no question. The range of characters is definitely a strength and the story is well plotted. I mostly don't like the humor. I'm not much of a fan of the Giffen-esque humor that jumped into comics from his JL days and Saga has a lot of it. I'd prefer the story to be told a little straighter...but obviously just an IMO...

But, still, it's not like it's an awful book, far from it. The sub-plots are interesting...and Lying Cat is great...

catching up here. I agree that Saga has lost something in this last arc. I'm not sure what, but it hasn't been that great for me recently.

East of West I think, is actually picking up steam. I'm more interested now than I've been since the start.

    See below

Best of the bunch is East of West.

Glad to see people reading Elephantmen - A consistently good book. Issue 59 was one of the best single issues of the year.

    Remender's Low is amazing.

Morning Glories: Best thing that I'm reading these days.
Saga: Love the art but the tacky humor is making me lean toward a drop.
    Trees: Like it.
    Umbral: In-between "like" and "love".
    Wytches: Trying it.

Zero: Read issue #1, thought it was solid, been meaning to go back to the series.

I would read these if they still existed:

    Bedlam
    Jupiter's Legacy
    Nowhere Men

    Delayed release irritates me...
I also love The Fuse. Very underappreciated book imo.

    Good idea for a thread!

    • Lazarus
    • Manifest Destiny
    • Mind the Gap
    • Peter Panzerfaust
    • Saga
    • Umbral

Still holding onto the thinnest of hopes that Mind the Gap will return at some point. It's really not looking good.

    Updated:

I am trying the upcoming Red One in March and pre-ordered the Birthright trade, so I might have one or two more titles to add to my pull list as of April.

I think I'll wait for Velvet to be collected in order to come back to it. It's a great book and one of my favorite Brubaker titles ever, but I do not have the patience to wait on issues as they are released.

Thanks to Image's 50% off sale, I'm now addicted to Alex + Ada and Lazarus.

    Saga - trade
    Manhattan Projects - digital
    Alex + Ada - digital
    Lazarus - digital
    Autumnlands - floppy
Wytches - floppy - likely will drop this
    Nameless - floppy

Wayward - will buy the first trade

Living in a developing country without access to a proper store I read digital only and usually wait for sales or prices to drop after one month. Thanks to digital comics I now read more than ever, largely Image and Dark Horse (have given up on the Big Two) with a massive backlog. Image books I read:

    Alex & Ada
    Black Science
    Deadly Class
East Of West (only the first trade so far; have to catch up)
    The Fade Out
    Lazarus
    Low
    Manifest Destiny
Prophet (very excited for Earth War)
    Rat Queens
    Revival
    Roche Limit
    Rumble
    Sheltered
    Southern Bastards
    Spread
    Trees
    Velvet
    Walking Dead
    Zero

    Will read at one point:
    Autumnlands
    Birthright
    Drifter
    Saga
    Wytches

Over at Dark Horse everything Mignolaverse and Conan. Plus I read evertyhing Dan Abnett writes.
