Thinking about reading but haven't decided just yet

I binged on Shutter and Sheltered over the holidays. Two really good series. Sheltered is almost done, but anyone who isn't reading Shutter really should give it a try. It's a fantastic book.

Tried a bunch of new Image titles over the holidays actually. As well as those two, I also tried Rasputin, Drifter, They're Not Like Us, Rumble, and C.O.W.L.

I thought C.O.W.L. and Rumble were terrific, but had mixed feelings about the other three. I'll give them all another issue though. I think They're Not Like Us just suffered from an overly exposition-heavy first issue - I think the second issue will be better. The other two though....both titles had great artwork, but Rasputin seems kinda decompressed and I'm not huge on how "silent" it is. As for Drifter, Nic Klein's art is incredible, maybe the best of his career, but Brandon's world seems a bit derivative and the hard-bitten narration is a bit forced and exaggerated.

Well I was extremely about Fatale while reading but now that it is over I have taken to my task to follow other Image titles which are as follows.

I only pull Low currently because it's the only one of my image series my comic shop orders. I'm thinking about trying out Secret Identities, Descender, Chrononauts, and maybe Red One (not a huge Dodson fan but it looks interesting). Looking forward to Monstress and Tokyo Ghost the most this year.
