Default The Axis #7 Reveal *spoilers/poll*

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are no longer Mangeto's kids. Axis 7 has Wanda cast a spell called 'Strike down my family" and only Pietro was affected, not Magneto. Wanda realized that they were never related.

So Magneto is officially out of the picture.

I really hate Marvel right now. What is wrong with them? If they were not mutants then how was Pietro affected by her spell?
Good Marvel characters- Bring Them Back!!!

This issue was the worst of the event. But anyway, Wanda not being Magneto child isnt a big loss. The loss of Pietro bother me tho.

Anyway, this was just Marvel being Marvel and pushing down our throat the freaking Inhumans all over again.

So I guess all this time Mags and Pietro simply went to the same hair stylist. They sure LOOKED alike. I frankly wonder why it took so long for people to assume they were related.

I agree, there is nothing on the issue worth to read, a huge waste of space and time. I´ve never read something so terribly bad and probably next issues will not be better.

Very disappointing. I really liked their connection to Magneto. But hey in a few years they may be retcon back to mutants so I'm not going to worry about it.

I haven't read this issue yet but it very well may not stick by the end of the arc...

Okay, clarify something for me. Are Wanda and Pietro still brother and sister? And is it stated anywhere that they cease to be mutants?

If that's the case, Marvel's really pushing the whole Inhumans deal before Age of Ultron to a point where it needlessly needs to go. Disappointing. I've always said to those people who argued against my problems with the MCU influencing the comics that one day it'll be their characters that are affected. Might be coming to fruition here by the looks of it.

The latter, no (not yet anyway).

They are still brother and sister. Evil Inverted Wanda cast a spell to strike down her blood relatives and only Pietro was affected, not Mags. She made a big Evil Inverted speech about how it meant they weren't related.

Ohhh, okay. Sorry, I read the initial post totally wrong. I thought she cast a spell that basically No More Mutants'd the relation to Magento.

So any guesses on which Inhuman fathered them?

I honestly don't care about this, it doesn't in anyway change my perception of either character nor does it destroy any enjoyment I've had with past stories involving them.

All this is going to do is create a new story where they try to locate their "real" family only for it to be reversed a few years from now.
