I don't see a fight between new Thor and Thor Odinson going well for the Odinson. He's nearly drowned, had his arm cut off, and probably not in the best emotional state. Also even if he did manage to win he probably still couldn't lift the hammer, as it still deems him unworthy.

Either way, should be fun and it will look great with Dauterman's art.

If he fights her the hammer will probably find him even more unworthy.

So Dario Agger gains the power of The Minotaur by killing people and prayer? or is he a descendant of The Minotaur? anyway glad that elf got his smug face bitch-slapped but you think getting hit by an axe he be cut in-half.

Thought bubbles? Who the hell uses thought bubbles? That's lame.

I notice that in Axis, Thor has a flesh arm. Maybe an artist mistake. And in Avengers he has a hammer he borrowed from some alternate reality 'Thorr'. Marvel aren't really comitting to this concept the way they said they were going to.

Going to be honest, I usually hate issues that are all fight scenes, but this was awesome! It was really fast-paced, but still it wasn't too much of a quick read.

Actually I think this series is post-Axis, if I recall there is a scene in Axis where Thor and Loki are at a casino and Thor makes a passing reference to his hammer still being on the moon.

Yeah, the timing all makes sense as long as you assume this takes place post-Axis. (and Avengers is a bit further into the future) There are certainly enough clues being dropped in both to indicate that is the intent. As far as the chronology of the Asgard books goes, it seems to be that the current arc of Loki takes place concurrently with Axis, Thor's current arc takes place after Axis/Loki, and Angela takes place after the current arc of Thor. I know it would be nice if everything lined up nice and neat every month, but that just almost never happens, there may be a reason for it which we are not aware of yet, and it's not too hard to make sense of, really.

And while I would have preferred captions for stylistic reasons, the thought bubbles do serve a purpose, so I am generally ok with them in this case.

Unhand my Hammer woman indeed. I know Thor will lose to She-Thor, but I can't help but fantasize that he'll take his rightful place again and this whole mess can be swept under the rug.

Maybe he does force her to unhand it long enough to get us our reveal we've been waiting for. Whoever it is probably doesn't want to hurt Thor, but Thor seems pissed off enough to want to hurt her...

I get the feeling that a "straight up" Thor vs. Thor fight with a clear winner is not in the cards next issue.

I've never purchased a Thor comic my whole life before the first issue of this series. Ive loved every second of it and I've come to look forward to it very much. This issue just added to that feeling.

I'll give Marvel this. Regardless of the amount of dreck they publish overall right now, at least they got the new Thor right!

I'm really enjoying this series so far. And I'm glad that Thor Odinson is still around and a major character in the book; even if having lost his hammer, his arm, and his shirt: he's having a very bad month.

Am I the only one amused that now that Mjolnir isn't picking his wardrobe every morning he turns out to be a lazy dresser, but fussy about the hair? Cause shirts are too hard, man, but don't disrespect the locks.
