Thanks for the thoughtful review. The issue of the title has come up more than once, and the one thing I will say in defense of the idea that the creature can also be called "Frankenstein" is I subscribe to the theory that if Shelley's original creature saw himself as Victor Frankenstein's son, it only makes sense that he would eventually adopt his old man's last name. Some have even argued that he also takes the first name of Adam, as he is the new "first man."
