Elektra Appreciation: Lady in Red

I'm the bearer of bad news Elektra fans. Diamond have released the top 100 comics for June 2014....and Elektra isn't there! The 100th placed title GREEN LANTERN NEW GUARDIANS #32 only had sales of 17.79 which means Elektra is well below the 20k mark! It had sales of 24.76 in May so the book has seen another large drop.

Gutted doesn't cover it. I wasn't too confidant after the second issue fall and the lack of second printings but I didn't think it would be out of the top 100 by issue 3! I had hoped with all the critical praise and almost universal reader praise that it's sales would remain higher. If there is another large-ish fall for this month's issue I think we will have to accept a 12 issue run at best.

Yeah. I guess it's better to focus on enjoying as many issues as we can, and hope that the critical attention it's been getting will do something for it.

I am also trying to think positive about sales...a four thou drop between 2 and 3 isn't terrible, so maybe if it hovers around this it will be fine. I hate to say it, but it may need to tie into an event.
