I am curious to see if she'll appear in the DD Netflix show and if she does how big her role will be?

I imagine her role will initially small, but perhaps critical to the story. A second season or spinning into other properties might see larger exposure.

What a great first issue to kick start her series

Elektra #1 sold about 47K physical copies. That's not the best NOW launch, but I think it's a solid start for the book. Hopefully the issue was enough to grab readers for the next issue. I'm wanting this book to stable off at around 25K.

Yeah, not too bad, and not too far off from Black Widow's launch. I think it'll stay around 25K once it levels off.

It'll be interesting to see how much leeway will be given to the female led books; looks like Captain Marvel is already seeing a huge drop-off.

I thought this was a good debut considering how little hype there had been. I had been worrying that it would debut in the bottom half of the top 100. I also hope all the positive buzz that has come out after the launch will mean it retains plenty of its readers.

As a big DD fan, I've always had an interest in Elektra without having followed everything she's been in. That being said, #1 of the new Elektra book was beeeeeyootiful and has me hooked already.

Excellent. Your boys book got off to a good start sales wise as well.

Yeah, I think as long as Waid and Samnee are doing their thing, DD's sales will be fine.

I really think Marvel need to make more of an effort pushing Elektra. Honestly I was on the fence with picking it up until I saw that splash of the Ballerina-Assassin and I was reeled in. If they whack some more preview art up as they move towards release, I'm sure they'd get more interest. Here's hoping!
