I'll take the classic look any day.

No other redesign in the comics has topped it in my opinion. It's about time we got back to it.

Agreed. Though I could go without the pirate boots.

Really loving Alex Ross' Cap cover for Legacy. This might actually be my favorite of all the Legacy homage covers.

Absolutely can't wait to read this!

As for Waid's run, here's a little bit more info on what he and Samnee have planned:

Definitely sounds like they're gearing up for a real run on Cap and not just a mini, as has been rumored.

And on the villain front, the thought of the likes of Attuma and Kraven the Hunter showing up sounds like fun to me.

Does his Kirby variant cover to Cap 25 mean anything more than an anniversary cover?

Came on this article from the IJMS 2012, the Intenational Journal of Motorcycle Studies, of all things!
http://ijms.nova.edu/Fall2012/IJMS_Artcl.Stevens.html - all about Cap's reflective journey across America back with Stan and Gene.

I think we should send it on to Waid and Samnee ...
Here's a preview of the November issue ....

    Quote from the article-

"During each of these conflicts, the character reflected on his political journey, and each time, images of his 1970s motorcycle journey accompanied the dialogue explaining his shift from conservative patriot to liberal crusader. Thus, for Captain America the motorcycle continues to serve as an easily accessible symbol of his change in politics. Even as his relationship with the establishment changes, Captain America’s motorcycle serves as a visual reminder that the ideals of the New Left remain within his identity, often leading him to be wary of the very establishment that granted him his superhuman abilities."

Wow. You remembered my birthday. I'm legitimately touched. Especially since I've taken a fairly long hiatus from CBR and Comics in general. I thank all you guys for wishing me a happy birthday. And to those of you, whose birthdays I have missed. I humbly apologize and ask that you accept my belated Happy Birthday Wishes.

And a special thank you to my good buddy CJ I can't believe you remembered and then posted it. You really are a good friend.

I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.

I don't think so but I'd keep Wikipedia handy to look any references like history of the Cube and so forth. Otherwise you should be all set. Enjoy!
