That was Alexsander Lukin wasn't it ? IIRC he impersonated Red Skull's persona as a split personality due to cosmic cube . And didn't he orchestrated the Winter Soldier program ?. I vaguely recall that tbh .

    Nope.

Lukin got hold of the Winter Soldier at the end of the Cold War.

I think things are going to be much more enticing with Lukin's arrival and Bucky's first appearance . Can't wait for the next issue .

Brevort said that Coates is a big fan of Brubaker's run.

I really hope to see Coates writing Falcon and Black Widow as well.

Duo comics like Captain America and Falcon wouldn't be bad imo , it's like Priest's run .

Oh boy, the new issue was faaaaantastic.

The fight between Steve and Taskmaster alone would make this an A+. Classic. Coates seriously writes the hell out of Steve.

But the surprises later in the issue put it way over the top and really cement how good this run is and how deeply it's tied to Brubaker's.

Another good issue. Really intrigued to see what’s coming. That last page reveal was huge.

Also—I REALLY hope Taskmaster shows up again! Good fight.

It was so good. What a great opening arc for this book. One of the best on the stands.
