I kept thinking "this all looks very interesting, too bad we didn't get to actually SEE any of it." Also, I thought that HOW he ended up in the ice was really contrived, it didn't really work. Still, it's an enjoyable movie with a great tone, good performances, and some good action. It just wasn't as good as it could have been. TWS, on the other hand, that film was freaking fantastic.
I completely agree with this. I wanted so much more of Cap, Bucky and the Howling Commandos in combat. That was the point to stop the Axis in WWII, let's see more of that. It would have really hammered home how important Cap was to the war effort - instead of say wasting 5 minutes on the stage number. The rush to get him to freeze was disappointing. Outside of this and Hugo Weaving, I really enjoy it. And the screenplay makes me enjoy what's great about it even more.

Still the cast and crew more than made up for it in CATWS so I can't be too picky.

I actually didn't enjoy the first movie, at all.

I agree that the lack of actual WWII action was dissapointing, though I understand that the filmmakers probably didn't want the film to drag on.
I agree about the WWII action (or lack there of, as the case may be), but nothing is perfect.

Spotted on the U.K. Avengers set...

    spoilers:
There are also rumors that Anthony Mackie was spotted... that would be so great if Falcon has a cameo...
    end of spoilers

Lovely Alex Ross Cap up there.

@Rozen, I can just see the folks working in that exhibit to get me to move along while I take lots of snaps of Cap's gear. Fingers crossed indeed.

Well if Rhodey and Peggy are going to at least cameo in the movie, then I see no reason why Falcon can't show up as well. It's not like he has to be a huge part, just let him appear.

and a character who should appear in Cap 3, Brock Rumlow

Of course, Grillo is going to be tight lipped but I'm looking forward to seeing him come back. He was a nasty piece of work.

Absolutely loved him in Cap 3, so I'm excited. Nice fanart, too.

I would love to see Brock back, he has unfinished business with Falcon!

Well if we get a more comic-bookey Crossbones, then I want to see Sin appear as well. Actually, I want to see Sin appear anyway.

Since Skull has vanished from the face of the MCU, I wouldn't mind seeing her either.
