Here's another trade that looks extremely interesting, featuring Deathlok (miss that bastard):

DeMatteis' Captain America was really good. I might have to check that out.

My order of Brubaker's Cap, vol. 6 #s 1 and 2 just got shipped. I'm really interested in checking out the post "Reborn" Cap. I skipped Reborn because of some wildly negative reviews.

Currently reading Kirby "The Swine" and waiting also on this:

I actually liked Captain America: Reborn, It seemed to get good reviews to me.

On Amazon.com it got 4/5 stars

IGN overall gave it an average of 7.8

    1. 6.6
    2. 8.7
    3. 8.3
    4. 8.8
    5. 7.5
    6. 7.0

Comic Book resources gave it an average of 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5

    1. 3.5
    2. 4
    3. Curiously I couldn't find their review for issue #3. Imagine it was so good they felt their review couldn't do it justice
    4. 3.5
    5. 3.5
    6. 3.5

I bought it and really liked it. I think you might be missing out on a story you might like.

I got that story in one of my Essential Captain America Volumes. It's a pretty good story. And that figure looks pretty sweet.

Okay, you convinced me. I'll give Reborn a try. I'll postpone reading vol. 6 #s 1 and 2 until after Reborn.

I think you'll like "Captain America: Reborn". Have you read "Captain America: White" By Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale?

Reborn is coming in a few days from Prime, I put away the Brubaker vols until after I read it. I've heard mixed things about Cap White.

Cap White was okay. It centers around Cap and Bucky's relationship during WW2, while they're still kind of rookies, and new to the whole "soldiering/heroing" thing. It wasn't a masterpiece, but I liked it, and found it enjoyable.

I read a knockout trilogy of oldies last week: "Secret Empire", "Nomad", and "The Swine". Super fun! I've also got the Captain America/Iron Man Civil War collection coming in next week, so a lot of great reading ahead!
