Default What are your Treasured Omnis?

My shelves are now my shelf porn.

This comic geek has a pretty little collection and I love displaying them, mostly for me.

I have a few trades which I treasure and wonder which omnis (and absolutes - just whatever COLLECTED EDITION) you look at in your collection and go "I am glad I own that."

    Mine are:
Absolute Kingdom Come - just wonderful and I love the extras
    Marvels HC - same
    Amazing Spider-Man Omni 1 - the classics
McFarlane Spider-Man - could never afford the comics coming up, love they are now collected
    X-Statix - just a wonderful book
Frank Miller Daredevil - as much as he's kinda gone off the rocker recently, his Daredevil was good
Bendis Daredevil - Best Daredevil in my opinion, but I am in the minority
I love comics and make art. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/pages/ARose...9658123?ref=hl

Simple question - it's Sin City Library, both volumes are pearls in my collection.

Not an Omni per se, but if any kind of collected edition or high-end comic book related item counts...
I'd say the Wondercon exclusive John Romita's Amazing Spider-Man Artist Edition, signed by himself and Stan Lee.

Avengers: The Bride of Ultron. It has my two favorite Avengers stories. The Bride of Ultron and The Nefaria Trilogy.

Next favorite is the Private War of Dr. Doom

    Let's see...
I don't buy Omnis but here's what I treasure most...

My Levitz Legion collection, which includes the Who's Who series and the DC Heroes Sourcebooks.
    My Madman collection.
The Sienkiewicz run of New mutants, most signed by Sienkiewicz.
    JLI
New Teen Titans #1, signed by Wolfman and Perez.
    Wednesday Comics
    Crossgen's Forge and Edge series.
A large chunk of Dr. Strange, mostly the Roger Stern and Peter B. Gillis issues.
    Contest of Champions (1982)
    Fantastic Four #243
    Who's Who '85 thru '88

YES! Everytime I look at that book it makes me smile. That is how books should be done properly. Excellent stories, superb production values, interviews, extra artwork etc etc. Perfect!

And also the Blueberry oversized books (in Dutch).

Frank Miller's Daredevil and ASM Vol 1 and 2. I'm happy to own the Stern Spidey and Simonson Thor omnis but I don't think I'll truly love them until I rip them in half and rebind them.
    Miller was right.

not an omnibus, but the first thing from my collection to be saved in case of fire would be The Complete Calvin & Hobbes.

If you ever do that, please post pics and some advice on page count, what the binder should look out for and all that stuff. I've been wanting to do the exact same thing to my Stern omni myself, but haven't quite found a place that can provide me with what I want.

*Sigh* Do you know how hard it is, being a collected edition fan in Mexico?
