Jean looks more like Fairchild from Gen13, shes too big in every aspect... Gambit is supposed to be 6'2", why does he look so short?

He is hiding his neck, lol.

Artist just redraw characters from his/her previous covers 7-11 almost in the same form and redraw Gambit from Gambit's head corner for RED.

Yea Remy looks a lot better in the MMX #6 issue cover than in the Red #11 issue.

I really like that cover and Remy, though I do agree that the relative heights are a bit off (probably in the name of composition?). I am kinda amused that he looks like he's gotten really into some "alternative" music with that haircut though, like he's gonna start talking enthusiastically about Nine Inch Nails or something haha.

I can't stand those X's on their bellies. It just looks silly, especially on Gambit(who I agree, does look too short and delicate).

Gambit's disproportionate portrayal aside, they are the tallest. This isnt a race thing. They arent very well going to put Gentle in the front and have him block half the team. Storm's the only other flier aside from Jean and that always gives artists to give them extra elevation for group shots like this

Its was a joke. Storm is flying and Gentle is huge... like duh.
