To take your minds off of Guggenheim's awful writing, here's a great Pere Perez costume design:

It's sleek, though I'm not a fan of the blocky stuff on the ends of the sleeves or on his hands.

No. Question is "why is he saying it?"

Heh, bought two issues of gold. And only because one appreciated in value by more than 15% overnight. The $6 variant I own thanks to the controversy is worth like $20+ now. The other was the first appearance of Gambit in it... Saw where that was going and bailed out for the rest of the arc. I don't dig clumsy Gambit.

In Gold #26 Gambit was just there, he barely did a thing and when he talked I can't ignore the out of character "boyos", ugh. And I can't still forget how incompetent Gambit was in his first appearance in the book
So I'd rather Guggs never used him again.

I liked that Gambit tracked down Mesmero when noone were able to identify him.

You do? Please share because while I've read all the issues thus far, I'm on the precipice of canceling my sub with my store. I'm not swung on the book in general in terms of roster or premise. I find most of the dialogue mundane, and the "political satire" and subtext heavy-handed.
