Although you are right the others stay within species, while Goliath: a small K9, transforms into Giant Feline, that is the one pushing the boundaries of believably? LOL!

Yes. That is all. With characters like Jon and Damian getting into shenanigans, which with a crossover like this, wouldn't be all that out of the ordinary. Bruce is taking a back seater, letting Dick as Nightwing take his place.

I love the HB characters, but I don't understand why the DC artists tend to draw the funny animals in a "realistic manner". The JLA has teamed up with the Zoo Crew and classic Looney Tunes in the past, now for some reason we get these mutated creatures that are way off model, both Looney Tunes and HB. If I wanted total realism in a comic.. there is no such thing!

Although those were mostly the Looney Tunes ones, they made look freakish, not HB
I do prefer if they crossover they just stay on model yet still exist in the same U, as in Laugh Olympics style, .
No need to make them too "realistic"

Although as a call back to the old Scooby Doo Movies, it's mostly celebrity crossovers, Scooby Doo Guess Who has had a few new crossovers with DC :

ep.6 - "The Scooby of a Thousand Faces!" - Wonder Woman
ep.13 - What a Night, For a Dark Knight!" -Batman, Alfred, Joker (voiced by Hamill)
ep.16 - "One Minute Mysteries!" - Flash
