    I think starting from Rebirth, as far as Wally II is concerned, is preferable to seeing how he was handled in the subsequent run.

    I think you should be able to skip from Manapul/Buccelato's run and Rebirth fairly well.

    Dropping in to give another recommendation for JLA: Year One. Barry has never been written better and it's one of the all time great Justice League stories.

    I've enjoyed other takes on Barry but I have heard tons of good things about JLA: Year One .

    I think it is ok to just skip it and go on to the Rebirth run. Wally 2 was introduced in the New 52, but most fans did not like Wally 2 in the New 52. I think most fans agree that it is in Rebirth that his character started to improve.

    I really enjoy the Manapul/Buccelato run. That was what got me into Barry Allen when I was first getting into non-Wally Flashes. It may not be the best Flash run ever, but it has some of the best Flash art ever.

    Thank you all for the suggestions. I will surely read manapuls run on new 52 flash and get into Rebirth. Also to Assam, thanks for that suggestion, is the brave and the bold series good as well?
