This is full of bad news man.

    - Dan Jurgens writing Convergence
    - Red Lanterns got cancelled?! COme on!!!
    - JRJR taking over Supes? Artist writing for the first time? I think his Super art has been terrible. I just read his Fallen Son issue (Marvel) and it was so much better. Plus what's Johns gonna do? I like his Superman.
    - Is Venditti at least leaving the GL book? he got them all cancelled! If he keeps writing it would be a full tragedy.
    - When is Rise of the Seven Seas starting? Cant Wait!!!!!
    - We were the BEST, Richard. No matter what anyone thinks. - Damian Wayne.

I'd wager JRJR on Supes is temporary. Geoff, as a higher up at DC, is likely involved with the DC move more than most writers.

Lets see here....... RedHood, Convergence, both Multiversity issues, maybe Constantine, Detective comics, and if the art was better Gotham by Midnight. God the artwork for that book is so dissapointing.

Plus, didn't Johns say he had more plans for Superman past this first arc?

I think Jurgens writes good when he's not also doing the art. His Thor run was really good.
Johns will be put on whatever DC wants to sell more of. Maybe Zoo Crew, Cyborg and/or Shazam.
And the GL books lost readers with Johns leaving more than anything else. The same will happen to JL if/when he leaves it, too.

Disappointed by a lot of the cancelled titles. I wasn't expecting Swamp Thing to get cancelled, Snyder said he hoped to return to it one day. I wonder what plans there are for Green Lantern or if they're just actually cutting it down to Green Lantern and Sinestro. Trinity of Sin might have me upset the most. I haven't read them yet because I enjoy reading a bulk of issues at a time.

    Calm down
    - Jurgens is co-writing issue 0 only. The main writer takes over after that with Lobdell helping with the plotting.
-JRJr is probably on for just this 1 issue.
    - The GL books will be relaunched in some fashion. Remember GL: Emerald Warriors?

By the sound of things lately, I think we can expect Snyder on Wonder Woman before anything else (after the Finches are done obviously).

That's a lotta cancelled titles, and some surprising ones, too. DC has to have some kind of plan for those, though, otherwise that's a lot of promising characters just dumped in limbo... Not that it'd be the first time.

Also, looking at the DC Direct offerings, is it just me and my rose-tinted nostalgia lenses, or were the old Kenner Batman Animated Series figures way, way better than the current DC Direct versions? I mean, I know we're not being saddled with endless variants of Batman with, say, Sonar Farting Gear, but the sculpts and paint jobs on those figures look totally lacklustre compared to the old Kenner jobs, and even some of DC Direct's own stuff.

Yeah, I heard about that. I wonder if it'll be separate from the Wonder Woman series, similar to Superman Unchained. Maybe a collaboration project with Ivan Reis since he's in some sort of limbo outside of the Multiversity #1 and #2 issues. He deserved the long break though. I just hope they don't lose him.
