Do you like M's (Monet) current costume?

This is M's current costume as seen in adjectiveless X-men book.

no, it's terrible. and i lost all respect for her when she let pip the troll shame her into zipping up her top.

I like it, but I don't love it.

Bear in mind I know very little about Monet beyond she's a psychically-capable 'brick' with a snotty attitude (...right?). This suit works for the brick part at least; the connecting lines suggest armour or fortification, which denotes strength, and the gloves being separate from the sleeves hints at a boxing or MMA tendency to her fighting style. And the overall aesthetic, judged on its own merits, is pretty good. There's a nice balance between cluttered lines and open fabric.

That said, it is kinda plain. It looks less like an individual costume and more like one of a missing themed team, which would be fine if the team she was on co-ordinated their outfits similarly...but they don't. I'm also not sure if basic black-and-white was the best colour choice. It just...lacks a certain oomph. Maybe all it needs is an extra accessory to make it interesting.

It's alright. Too me at least most costumes would be like that imo. Utlilatarian and that's it. When your fighting the likes of Sentinels and Marauders as useful costume is best. Not like some where the amount of skin shown is possibly fashionable but not useful. Where one step and everything falls out.

I voted no because there it would have been better if the sleeve would go down to her hands.

Also, there are no other white parts to complement the white part on the top part of her costume.

I would prefer this.

With white part enclosed with red lines on the top part of her gloves as well as somewhere between her ankles and knees

The X on her midsection needs to be colored either white or red. She needs better boots. Her legs should have red/white trailing the sides. Her sleeves should be black.

I loved her costume before this one (X-Factor).

That's what I thought when I first saw it, which was at the top of the post. She never really has had an unique outfit, right? Mostly just the team uniform or a modified version of it.

I like it a lot more than her all purple one, but I think it could be improved upon.
