Are you a fan of Black Mariah? Nobody I know who reads comics seems to know who she is, and I just LOVED her when I read the old Luke Cage issues.

She was an interesting character in much the same way that cats like Pirranha Jones and Coacroach Hamilton were.

Bizzare, far out but always original.

    She should make a comeback.

I think she'd make an exceptional crime boss, and I'd love to see her be a rival for the Kingpin for several different reasons.

    1. We don't have a lot of full figured characters in comics.
    2. We don't have a lot of villains of color.
    3. We don't have enough female characters that could go toe to toe with the boys.
    4. I love her. (lol)

I have always thought Purple Man was really cool. With the right push he could sort of be Marvel's Joker.

I think Mariah and Piranha Jones could totally work today. Cockroach and Senor Muerte I'd have a problem with depending on how they were done.

Guys like Chemistro, Spear, Mose Magnum work as super villains no matter what year it is.

The Constrictor, Atlas (when he was Power Man), Chaka & The Golden Tigers, Bushmaster, Killer Shrike, Black Mariah, Deadly Nightshade, Mister Fish, Moses Magnum, Piranha Jones just to name a few.

    Re: Ultimate Spidey cartoons--

I still want to see an adult, "traditional" Cage, in his own show, with or without Iron Fist..

Probably in the ballpark of Deathlock from Agents of SHIELD. I think generally speaking the power levels of TV versions of comic book characters need to be a bit more down to earth.

If this is a Cage who's starting out, then he shouldn't be as strong as he is now. He's been exposed to the "Power Man Process" 4 times in the comics, thus the power-up.

I know he's listed as 25 tons in the comics but he looks a little stronger these days

I know everybody is down on Bendis' Cage, but that Civil War decision issue was chilling... Just epic, badass, thoughtful, and inspiring Luke Cage...

I'll Assemble if you call it...
