All this missing baby stuff going on, and even Luke is apparently kept out of the loop...
... Please don't use this story as an excuse to slam black fathers, and fathers' rights in general. Please....
My blog. Latest entry: November 5th, 2022
Finished watching the Netflix show last night. No spoilers, just want to say I really enjoyed how they reimagined both Cottonmouth and Black Mariah, they're my favorite villains yet.
But damn, Willis Stryker was just terrible! I've never particularly liked him in the comics, but this was something else. The changes to his character were completely unnecessary, his motivations were stupid and the performance was way over the top (and not in a good way). Also, his costume must be the absolute worst I've ever seen in any modern Marvel show or movie. Complete miss all around and it did bring down the second half of the series for me.
I don't agree. I thought he fit in just fine for a show with a guy with unbreakable skin.
And the costume: spoilers:end of spoilers
Was a good adaptation of his comic costume, which I don't think they should be punished for.
The Runaways' Alex Wilder is coming to Power Man and Iron Fist joining the Battle For Harlem and being positioned and a big villain for the MU. Newsarama has a short interview with David Walker.
I haven't loved the first two arcs but this one sounds pretty good, hope it delivers! Hope Black Mariah gets a bigger role too, even after Sanford Greene's amazing redesign she's barely been featured in the book so far.
I like where PM&IF is going. A nice bit of world building.
Stryker's character was great in the show I loved it. I've been a fan of Erik LaRay Harvey since Board Walk Empire and he killed it on this show as did most of the cast
The J-man
I'm kind of mixed on Diamondback to be honest. Sometimes I thought he was fine and at other times I thought he was seriously overacting.
Not Impressed nothing about Alex Wilder suggested he want to be a common crime boss. I think he better off going a more Dr. Doom route considering his trips through outer realms and science background
Is pm and if getting relaunched in marvel now?
