It was just that I thought the three thing was nonsense have none of you watched 30 Rock with the same thing? That's why I mentioned the voice in joking.

Hail Hydra!
I always wondered how far back that rule of 3 goes...

I would have thought last year's celebrity death tsunami would have rendered the Rule of Three pretty irrelevant.
The rule of three is really silly. There is no time frame. Just start with one death, and when you reach three, start again.
It could just as well be 2 or 5 or 7.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
RIP talents Romero and Landau and the Linkin Park guy,

And now the actor from CHUD, Cat People 1982 and Home Alone 1 & 2 is now dead, RIP.
I only meant how long ago did people start using that rule of 3 and such...
First time I remember it being a thing was in the 90's.
I knew you didn't mean you believe it. I was just commenting in general.

June Foray has died at the age of 99.
This makes me particularly sad as she was pretty much the last living link to the golden age of animation.
Started her career in radio in 1937, and from the 40's to the 90's her voice was so commonly heard in animation that she could be considered the female Mel Blanc... she was Granny, Witch Hazel, Rocky the flying squirrel, Natasha Fatale, Cindy Lou Who, Jokey Smurf, and Joan, the young wife in all those Tom & Jerry and Tex Avery cartoons.
Actually the rule of three six then nine is an old Irish tradition and was considered normal while I was growing up in Ireland. There are numerous traditions arising (pardon the pun) out of Irish wakes, a wake is were the people gather to pay their last respects.

R.I.P. Patti Deutsh
She was on Laugh-In and was on other shows. She also did many cartoon voices.
Robert Hardy is dead at 91. Young people probably know him best as Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge in the Harry Potter movies. But I knew him as Siegfried Farnon, the senior veterinarian in the 1970's British TV comedy All Creatures Great and Small.
