I grew up watching The Brady Bunch. What a shame, R.I.P. Alice.

    Default R.I.P. Rik Mayall

Not only genius in The Young Ones as the People's Poet, but thank you for giving us the most quirky and enjoyable guest character in Jonathan Creek.

    Super Sad over this.

Rain just started as I posted this.

    Love to you Rik.

Sad to hear about Mayall's death. I know that the quad-bike accident hit him hard, but it was 16 years ago so I wonder how much of a factor it still could have been. In his own words:

He became epileptic from what I hear, which cause him severe health issues.

It actually happened around the time of the board reset, so I don't recall any threads on it, but we lost Bob Hoskins on April 29.

Shame about Rik Mayall. I was watching the Young Ones episode "Bambi" on my commute in yesterday and then heard the news once I got to work.

He was such a great foil for Adrian Edmonson and his Black Adder work was fun too.
