Dammit. She is one of my favorite actresses. I once had a crush on her. She was an attractive, vivacious, lively and talented actress. Now she is gone. She had plenty of years ahead to live and her life was cut short so cruelly due to an auto accident.

Director Wolfgang Petersen has passed away.

I know that he will always be best known for Das Boot, Air Force One and In The Line Of Fire. And he should be, they were fantastic movies. For some reason, I never realized that he wrote and directed The NeverEnding Story which is another movie I loved. But my favorite movie of his filmography is without a doubt the sci-fi film Enemy Mine. That is one of my all-time favorite movies and it just turned out to be a movie that really stuck with me after the first time I saw it.
