Roscoe ruled that series. Everyone else was a redneck fraud. Roscoe played it real. One of TV's greatest personalities has left the stage and we are all made lesser because of his absence.

Felt like a piece of my childhood died the other day.

But I smile thinking that somewhere he and his fat little buddy are together again and driving each other crazy just like old times.

    Geoffrey Lewis passed on 4/7.

I loved him in High Plains Drifter, the other Eastwood films, 'Salem's Lot, the Devil's Rejects etc. He was a terrific character actor and is forever ingrained in my memories because of HPD and 'Salem's Lot.

    R.I.P. sir.

He was one of those unsung character actors that always brought so much to every role he did. You may not have always know his name, but you always remembered him when you would see him in something.
