Actually the first time in a variation was in WW II. It was called 3 on a match. The idea was that in the theater of combat you could light 2 cigarettes on a match but not 3. If you lit 3 on a single match it would give the snipers enough time to zero in one you. The feeling was 2 lights wouldn't be enough time to get that fix on you. Originally Posted by LoganAlpha30X33

The sad thing is he has been getting a lot of Oscar buzz for his movie Lucky that came out a not too long ago. He might still get nominated. It is always sad when someone who has been acting for over 60 years passes on. RIP Mr. Stanton and thanks for the memories.

I remember him from his role on Star Trek Deep Space Nine as well as some of the movies he's best remembered for as well.
