Kind of threw me a curve that he and Mean Gene were the same age. Seems all wrong in my head even though it is obviously the case.

Saw them in person. They performed at the state fair back in the 1970s. Each night there was a different act including Johnny Cash, Blood Sweat and Tears, Seals and Croft, Jim Stafford, and the Monkees.

I actually knew him as Officer Judy. I was rolling on the floor laughing whenever he came on THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS COMEDY HOUR in the 1960s.

I remember watching the TV show Captain & Tennille had on ABC back in the 70's.

He was also the narrator of Civilization V, a role that Nimoy had in the previous game.

I just saw this news. Such a shame. He had such a memorable voice that even if you weren't looking at the screen but heard him talk, you'd know it was him. I remember him from Babylon 5 as the Soul Hunter.

I remember one of the reasons Mark Sheppard left Supernatural was to care for his sick father. I'd never made the connection before now. I've seen William Morgan Sheppard in LOTS of stuff growing up. RIP

I don't believe that's the reason he left. Mark has said several times in Twitter that he wasn't given a choice in the matter.

I loved William. He voiced David Xanatos's father and Odin in Gargoyles. He was in the second best star trek movie as a king on warden. And him and Mark played the same character in doctor who.
