I remember him from different TV show appearances going back to the 1980s-- I never knew he was on the Young and the Restless show for over 25 years-- I don't follow soaps, but I do have a dim memory of occasionally seeing him, and I'd recognize him, and I'd think, "okay, that's what he's doing now"... and then maybe a couple of years later, that same scenario would repeat, but I didn't put it all together that this was him playing the same role all these years.

Would that show be Charlie & Company with Flip Wilson, Gladys Knight and an UNKNOWN Jaleel White. Who was 3 years away from almost starring on Saved by the Bell and playing Urkel.

That show was suppose to counter the Cosby Show and didn't.

He also did The Bad News Bears show.
