I miss looking forward to Ms Simone's Pre52 Suicide Squad every month. This was a quickfix of sorts with her reimagining of Ragdoll. Loved the cover and the Batgirl splash page where she arrives to kick his face in. The title page splash wasn't too shabby either and will probably have people pausing before going to a public toilet stall like Jaws had people second guessing to swim in the ocean.

It was another overall strong chapter and a welcome done-in-one adventure. The flashback scenes were inserted a bit awkward to the pacing and interrupted the flow rather than heighten the drama with the breakaway. Not a deal breaker though. This version of the Ragdoll was a little more coherent which is a good thing since he got so much solo spotlight instead of being the team's black comedy relief. Can somebody confirm if his 'happy endings' he gave were in fact death or asphixiated loss of consciousness? I look forward to his return.

In Babs private soap opera besides all the Alyssia facetime, her boyfriend is going to sue her dad. Does that mean this is clearly (long) before the continuity of Batman Eternal? What with Gordon in prison.
