Ms. Marvel's first animated appearance felt more like the comic book character she is. They did right by her. Can't wait to see her and Carol interact.
I'm still worried about Bruno. Hope they don't kill him off.
Kamala is marvel hero gotta have one dead friend or family member minimum.
I read that issue today and it was pretty good. Im excited for the next few issues and the AnAD annual.
Besides being a little whitewashed and kind of whiny, I like the overall character of Ms. Marvel on the show. Seemed like the animation improved as well.
So if you were to think of a counterpart for Kamala in DC, who would you have it be?
For me, I think it would be the Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle.
Really I say she is most like Steph Brown.
In terms of role or position, as Marvel's preeminent young superheroine, her closest counterpart would probably be Supergirl.
Though in terms of overall personality...probably Cassandra Sandsmark (Wonder Girl II). Both are spunky teens who enjoy being Superheroes and idolize their mentors, and also fangirl quite a bit.
Cassie, eh? I do admit that makes much more sense as an apt counterpart.

Finally saw the Kamala episode of AA, and it was alright. Hoping that come the next season and promotion to main character status, she'll have more opportunities to shine, and probably tone down the selfie stuff a bit.
Cant hey darken her skin? I am not a fan of bleaching.
