So eh why is she called Ms Marvel? She has no connection to her whatsoever.....even her powers.. :/

In story it's cuz she's a Carol/Avengers fan girl. In real life, Marvel doesn't want anyone stealing the name.

We don't know the full context yet but I like how she calls herself Ms. Marvel without Carol's or anyone else's approval. It makes it much more different than other times of mantles being passed down.

Sure, if and when she meets Carol things might go differently but for now I like that she just took the name.

My guess is that Carol will initially not be too pleased to see someone aping her old codename without permission, but will eventually allow Kamala to keep it after she proves herself worthy of the Marvel title.

Well, we knew that #6 wouldn't be Alphona because of the Solicit, but #7 as well? Eh. Oh well. Hopefully it'll be only for those two issues because Alphona's art adds to the charm of this series.

That being said, the changed art style for #6 and #7 could work out depending on which directions those issues will go.

Extremely bummed out right now.

To those who got late into the game, did any of you manage to find #1 & #2 and/or #3 in stores? My own comic shop is trying their hardest to get me the first three issues and ship them to me (with #4 as much as possible), but this has proven difficult since according to them, they haven't gotten restocks of the first three issues.

Granted part of the difficulty is the fact that I live on the opposite side of the world (Philippines), but still.
