    Default Scrooge mcduck. An appreciation

Duck tales. Carl barks, the European comics etc.
    Feel free to discuss here.

His cheapness was his super hero power!

It is wonderful that Don Rosa left us "The Life and Times" series, which is worthy of the hardback collections. It should be regarded as the definite biography of our favorite skinflint uncle.

It's very weird that he's a comic book character.

For me, he's #2 to Spider-Man. I completely understand anyone who rates him higher.
    Sincerely,

First UNCLE SCROOGE I ever got was #127. So Far, No Safari. A later day story/art by Carl Barks but still excellent.

I love Uncle Scrooge. Some of my first comics were not superhero comics but were old Archies and Disney comics with my dad. I will always have a soft spot for them as my dad introduced me to comics with some of his favorites.

I love Scrooge and have enjoyed his roles as hero, villain, and all points in-between. Loved the old DuckTales growing up, the classic comics, Disney Christmas Carol, and of course the reboot series. I've been collecting the Barks Library and have been enjoying those quite a bit. I'd get the Don Rosa ones too, but those are waaaay expensive, sadly.

Duck Tales is easily one of the best NES games of all time!

Capcom crushed it with the Disney Afternoon games.

Really happy to have recently scored this. Next to Launchpad, Magica was my favorite character. Finding this issue isn't a challenge, but finding it in good condition? That makes it a unique treasure in my books

Congratulations! Getting the debut issue of one of your favorite characters is special, but getting it in 9.6 condition is a treasure indeed! I trust you have extra locks on the money bin in which you store it.

    "I'll be seeing you
    In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way

I'll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
    But I'll be seeing you

And the cartoon. That was my favorite cartoon when I was a teen. Better than GI Joe, Spider-Man and X-Men.

You should totally give the reboot series a try. It pays a lot of homage to not only the comics, but the previous DuckTales series and other Disney TV animation from that time.

Lil Wayne had a line "y'all call me Scrooge cause I'm swimming in bucks..."
