No, not exactly . . . the song title is "Do-Re-Mi".
And saying "Maria, Sound of Music" is a cop-out when you should name the actual person who was singing the song, not a character. (Maria von Trapp, the character in that musical, was a real person, but I don't know if she ever sang that song written and composed by Rodgers and Hammerstein.)
We go from names to words and words to names often in this game. Going from one word to another with the same spelling is no different. I stand by my selection here.
As for the singer of the song, many have sung the song. Julie Andrews is probably the most famous. Petula Clark is the best according to Maria Von Trapp herself. Whoever played Maria in the school production of Sound of Music when my son played Rolf is a possibility if I remembered who that was. I have decided to make it easy for people to follow me because I am a sweetheart.
But the point about the song title is valid. I will change it.
