I was thinking more along the lines of the fact that Selene took out all the other Externals in a bid for power and Candra being an External would take issue with that. maybe it would be like War of the Externals... with storm trying to stop them both

Out of the list, Candra if she gets a MAJOR power boost. Other than that, a new villain with earth-shattering powers.

Out of this list I picked Selene. I think she would make a powerful and fitting nemesis for Storm.

Picking form existing villains Candra (even though she just died again last year) is also a good option for a Storm villain. But I would rather she get new villains to beefen up her rogues gallery. A mix of some individually powerful and some technically advanced adversaries.

Honestly, nothing's more entertaining to me than the old Storm/Emma Frost rivalry. Whether it's punches, lightning, or just biting words at each other, it's a great grudge match whenever they're around each other.

I think Emma and Ororo relationship has evolved into a respectful let´s say working relationship... she can pop by but I dont see the White Queen as her nemesis as things are... The Black Queen is another story. Ororo comes from an old old old line of White Magic practioners related to the Bright Lady-Osthur herself. I think Selene would be a scary and dark nemesis for this... Ororo should call on her ancestor Akasha help.. she is around... wasnt she brought to 616-present?
