Superman & Wonder Woman Appreciation!

Can't wait to discuss the ramifications of what happened but, for the time being, since it is early and some of the nice people here might not want to stumble upon spoilers, I started a thread with my review and thoughts:
Superman Wonder Woman #9 Discussion/Spoilers

What did you guys think of the story?

I enjoyed it. I just wish the book was longer or came out every week.

I know we can't get into "discussion" here so I'll say what I generally appreciated in the context of their relationship.

I appreciate how Diana is not giving up on Clark. She does believe in him. I love the cute exchange. The little banter and humor about dancing. She calls him that endearment... after all they've been through and what she's endured, Clark has just got to know this woman loves him. The event is really good for pushing and growing them and their relationship.

It's nice too see that WW and Lana won't ever give up on Superman.

SM and WW's little exchange in space was very touching. It had a certain playfulness mixed in with sadness and regret. Two people who want to believe they will see each other again but really don't know for sure if they will. I like the panel where Superman is flying away while her shadow remains behind, watching him go. Tragic for them. But it also made me want to root for them even more.
They keep fighting the impossible odds.These two deserve each other... :'( (damn, I just realized I am a hopeless romantic, je je)

Btw, i don't know why people are bothered with Diana not being able to survive in space. This was already established in the pages of Justice League.

I like that shot too. The earth framing her. It's almost like him telling her and the earth he loves...I will come back to you. (both)

Diana not breathing in space has been a standard for decades. Her being a demi god does not automatically make her have no limits. There are some fans who want her to be really over powered no matter what. But that does not make the character any more or less interesting if she can't breathe in space or need help to breathe.
