Gaze into each other's eyes and then...

God. Seeing all these multi-generational, multi-Age pics of SM/WW just helps me to realize just how long DC has wanted to do this relationship. It's been teased and played with for DECADES. And now we're finally getting it.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

My last ones too for tonight. The thing that prompted me to get deeper into the pairing and learn about them as individuals and started me actually buying comics.
Yeah, seems a while the teasers more than any other non couple has been going on. Okay, my last posts for sure now for tonight.
This last one and the observation by Barry Allen...and I think this comic was in the 60ties...and he was seeing something between them...even hinting at marriage. DC couldn't be more obvious than that imo.
It certainly has better development than Lois and Clark during the last few years before the reboot.
The reboot and the new status quo got me into buying comics, the shipping and the couple have always been my favorite even since before it was called ship for it was since I was a young kid in the late 70's so by now I like it even more to see it happening and what it has been happening and the relationship they've had for a long time. The reboot also got me into checking past comics and research about them because I didn't used to read comics, I was mostly playing outdoors or in sports.
I like the idea of them walking through the ages together.
A little bit of 'new' and a little bot of 'old':
Apparently nothing really changes in comics, doesn't it.

BTW, hello back everyone!
I had a little bit of panic when I found out my account had been deleted but everything is OK now.
