Is there any reason why Batman has been less of a #%&# to Superman in Dark Knight 3? Does anyone know more of the behind the info? Or is Miller just tired of making Batman be that way because it is all the finale?

Because Brian Azzarello is writing it instead of Miller?
Brian thinks that Miller's TDKR (along with the L&C series) has ruined Superman's reputation. In the few meetings between Batman and Superman that Azz wrote, Superman has always put Batman in his place.
Also, when DKIII was presented, DiDio, Azz and Miller said they were aware of the damage TDKR did to Superman, and that in DKIII he'll be better represented. I don't remember their exact words, but you get the point.

A little correction... Snyder killed Superman specifically for Batman and Batman alone being the one to form the JL... Diana will do nothing except maybe to be Bruce's secretary.

Bruce tried to recruit Aquaman in the trailer. Aquaman refused. Violently. Odds are, that one's Diana's. Cyborg may very well be Diana's to recruit as well. Thus far, Bruce gets to claim that he recruited the one guy on the team who would've joined no matter who made him the offer.

Bruce tried to recruit Aquaman in the trailer. Aquaman refused. Violently. Odds are, that one's Diana's. Cyborg may very well be Diana's to recruit as well. Thus far, Bruce gets to claim that he recruited the one guy on the team who would've joined no matter who made him the offer.

Honestly - whether he is lying or not - (I have not seen BS and have no intention to) - is immaterial
I would fault the PTB at WB that let him get away with such an egregious affront to the established history of Superman almost always being a founder member of the JL. If they did that - then they might as well allow a SM/WW romance as well in canon DCEU

We saw the trailer with our own eyes. It's made perfectly clear to us that Aquaman refuses Batman's invitation to join the League. Stands to reason that Diana will be the one to succeed where he failed. In one of the scenes the reporters saw being filled, they remarked on the fact that Diana and Cyborg share a smile at one point. Seems like they're already developing a kind of bond. Stands to reason that the bond may be formed when Diana recruits him.

In the trailer, we saw Batman recruit Barry Allen. That's it. And that's no big accomplishment, since Barry said "Yes" before Bruce was even finished making his pitch.

Well, unless that trailer is a total lie, then so far "DC's Nick Fury" has succeeded in recruiting one guy who would've joined regardless of who asked him. Aquaman turned him down. With violence. No word yet on Cyborg, but Aquaman was a definite "No."

But even if Arthur refused at first, he'll join the group later perhaps for personal reasons like Cyborg. Batman is still the one who had the idea to create the JL and go around to recruit them, etc... We know from the set reports that his role will also go beyond that.

"The culprits are Parademons, soulless minions of Steppenwolf, God of the alien world known as Apokolypse. This invading hive of Parademons are snatching scientists, and Cyborg’s own father at STAR Labs has just become the ninth victim of the disappearances."
