Soule/Daniel's "Power Couple" in the DC Comics - The Best of Super-Heroes Collection...

Wow! That is awesome! What's the story behind that "DC: The Best of Superheroes Collection"??? Was it ever released in the west? Any info you have would be appreciated.

(I remember we got something similar in Australia but I don't think it included SMWW Power Couple)

I looked at the Eaglemoss website... the French version of the collection (DC Comics - Le Meilleur des Super-Héros) includes Soule's "Power Couple", but the Australian version and the other English versions don't include it and other more recent books.
I suppose the French collection has been published more recently and therefore contains some post-Flashpoint stories.

(I'm not sure if this scene has already been posted here, it's not new but it has been recently (re)posted online by the "Release the Snyder Cut" movement along with other bts scenes and leaked deleted scenes from Snyder's JL.)

And while we’re at posting stuff that may have already been posted... I accidentally stumbled across a 2014 Reddit survey and Soule/Daniel's SM/WW was voted as the best series among the books under the Superman line. Ah, the good ol' time.

And while we’re at posting stuff that may have already been posted... I accidentally stumbled across a 2014 Reddit survey and Soule/Daniel's SM/WW was voted as the best series among the books under the Superman line. Ah, the good ol' time.

SM/WW de Soule is the comic! however haters want to hate the new 52 or superwonder they can never say (being real) that SM/WW de Soule is a bad book. dammit, they won of 2015's Stan Lee Excelsior Award!, Stan Lee said SMWW of Soule It was better than his own Marvel comics !!never understand why DC decided to break them and worse yet delete them from the canon when they are an insured business. by the way I suppose that Stan Lee ship Superwonder, he didn't have in Marvel a couple that represents superman and wonderwoman? maybe Hyperion and Princess Zarda, but I'm not sure.

I don't know about Stan Lee's shipping preferences but... yeah... Marvel has its own Superman and Wonder Woman (Hyperion and Power Princess/Zarda) that got together in the Squadron Supreme maxiseries written by Mark Gruenwald in 1985/86.

Cool. Thanks for the info. It's a bit of a shame for us in the west ... I just compared the two and I think the French version made some much better choices for the collection (ie including some New 52 titles, like JL Origin, Power Couple and Villain's Journey, etc). Oh well. That's the way it goes.

Mind If I ask which issue this is from? I liked the new hyperion stuff and I know that hyperion and zarda have always had a history that marvel aren't afraid to use.

Yes, I'm wrong. this is Warrior Woman, the evil version of Zarda something like Superwoman. Damn is sad in 2016 both Superman new 52 and Hyperion 712 died and with them the Supwerwonder stories of DC and Marvel. at least temporarily. At least I have seen that Hyperion and Zarda are almost always together in the many parallel worlds of Marvel, I just hope DC will suddenly give us a new AU with SMWW.
