One of the best parts about X-Factor was Quicksilver's story line, I hope that doesn't get thrown out.

The X-Factor storyline where he was using Terrigen crystals to jumpstart his powers? Something tells me that might gain new significance...

Or something else? I haven't read All New XF since issue 7 or so..

the amount of emphasis their placing on the origin gives me hope there's a twist in there somewhere

as to the costume... it has vague resemblance to both versions of quicksilder; but is still stupid

No I was talking about the recent and soon to be canceled series. QS finally matures and not only admits to all the crap he's pulled but also making the right moves to actually grow. Him and his daughter have been getting some great scenes along with Polaris which might not even be his sister anymore. It would be a shame to lose that to some forced retcon.

The costume is awful. He looks like he comes from a line of knock off GI Joe action figures based around X-treme sports, he'd be the one with the snowboard.

If Quicksilver wasn't a mutant, then how come decimation affected him?

Anyway, my theory is that if they are revealed not as mutants (even though Uncanny Avengers is a book that deals with mutant issues), they would be revealed as Mutates from experimentation or something rather than Inhumans.

So, sports sunglasses & colorblocked tights are to the now as giant pouches were to the 90s.

With any luck, we'll look back on these with the same lack of fondness we have for those pouches.

Dear Marvel: Enough with the x-treeeeme practicality. It's not cute and it looks terribly dated already!

Alright then it just didn't make a lick of sense, never did really and this doesn't change that. It was a re-powering of convenience, I never understood the logic

...well,, actually it kind of was.

He get his powers back after he suffers immensely and feels the desire to be a hero again. He's confronted with an immediate situation where a hero is needed and suddenly his powers came back. So either "gift from God" or ...psychosomatic.

I hope that we'll see more of all the characters.
