Why? Hes popular now. #19 left a hole for a time displaced SpOck story. Why not tell it? Its not as if it stops the Peter story. Plus, like it or not: Ock is a part of the Spider-man legacy.. not unlike Ben Reilly. Originally Posted by vaf2675

SpOck pretty much revitalized Spider-Man. His run was consistent in sales and he's super popular. Why NOT take advantage of that? Especially since Spider-Verse features every Spider-Man ever...so...it's kind of expected. Originally Posted by vaf2675

Agreed. And my guess is that if these 2 issues sell well, it will prove that a SSM and ASM title can co-exist and I would not be shocked to see a new SSM title launch later this year or even in 2015. Originally Posted by Seto Kaiba

I don't think that would work even if they did sell well in August. Scarlet Spider didn't work out and it coexisted with ASM, so the idea that SSM and ASM could coexist is a stretch, considering the history with side Spider-Man series. Originally Posted by oldschool

Fun character, interesting premise and a lead-in to Spider-Verse. Can't see it sucking.
