Completely wrong. A lot of things are a lot worse than him that have happened in comics. In fact, he helped reinvigorate the franchise. It makes perfect sense for him to be in Spiderverse.

Interesting. And unexpected. But this would explain the images with Superior Spider-Man in the future.

It does lead me to wonder if the rumor involving Matt Fraction writing a Superior Spider-Man series in October has merit in some way. In October, Learning to Crawl will be over, and there has been no word on Dan Slott having ASM go back to two times a month. Maybe there is some truth to the rumor of Matt coming onboard Spider-Man for a title, but not Superior. I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel might want to get another voice on the franchise after Dan Slott has been the sole voice for so long.

Why? Hes popular now. #19 left a hole for a time displaced SpOck story. Why not tell it? Its not as if it stops the Peter story. Plus, like it or not: Ock is a part of the Spider-man legacy.. not unlike Ben Reilly.

But when Ben died he stayed dead. Spock will have only been gone for 5 months when he returns. And unfortunately, this is probably going to let him be a part of Spiderverse.

But who knows, maybe since he's out of the MU and away from ruining Peter's legacy and people on stupid pills to keep his story going it'll be more enjoyable this time around.

While I would want this to bring back SPock, I know given the timeline of the series there's no way of doing that without ruining the timeline of Amazing Spiderman and Superior Spiderman. Although I can't wait for Spider-verse to show Peter Vs. SPock.

These two issues will take place between nine hours in Superior Spider-Man 19, where SPock disappears after Horizon Labs explodes. So it won't ruin the timeline.
