This looks amazing, I've been anticipating this issue for months!
Kudos to Morrison and Quesada. I'm still an agnostic on the presumed coolness of this particular seminal comic book saga. But anyway, it's intriguing that even the decades-old issues are inspiring "new" stories.
I literally just finished re-reading the entire run a couple of days ago and am looking forward to this, if only to see how well it fits in. I expect the typical Morrison greatness.
So many positive comments. Marvel won't be able to say the audience was looking for them to fail on this one.
I've been enjoying collecting the Miracleman hardcovers as they get released. It's not as good as Watchmen & V For Vendetta, but Miracleman is pretty damn good.
As for the annual, and, in particular, Grant Morrison's short-story, I'll say this much. Reading it made me wish Marvel was hiring Morrison to do a multi-issue Miracleman arc. Good stuff, but left me wanting so much more. I enjoyed it, but it felt like a tease.
