Been loving Parkers Flash Gordon series. Hope these make a decent follow up.
A few older threads that may be of interest:

Ah. That probably explains it.
Plus the stickied Dynamite thread is "GOLD KEY relaunch - Turok, Magnus, Solar and Dr Spektor", so it would appear that the pulp and King stuff isn't all that popular here (at least at first glance).
BTW- Flash Gordon #1 is set to come out on January 7th, his 81st birthday.
He was first published January 7, 1934.

I picked up Flash Gordon #7 today. Mostly because it has the previews (with lettering!) of the first issues.
I would've liked to get the rest of the Jeff Parker series but I didn't have enough money and they only had the kiddie variant covers for #1 and 2.

I hope that when Flash Gordon returns to ongoing after King Comics that they'll keep the art style of the current series. Shaner's work reminds me a lot of Rude's Nexus.

What makes you say FG is returning to ongoing after the King minis?
I wanted to check these out, but my comic book store would not order. They really have something against the indies I guess.
