Guardians of the Galaxy
Agreed, it's got to be Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Got it for Christmas on DVD and I liked it even more on watching it again.
(I couldn't help but compare it to the enormous missed opportunity that was the GL movie as well. Bah).
It's a tie between Snowpiercer and Captain America 2 but I went with the former.
I liked Cap 2, but my vote is for Guardians of the Galaxy.
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
I liked Guardians of the Galaxy - how could you not? But I thought Ronan was kind of lame and one-dimensional. He just hung out being angry. There was no mention of his judicial background or why he was such a fanatic in the first place. Basically, he was a placeholder for a generic bad guy.
So my vote goes to Days of Future Past. The bad guys were ambiguous in that they believed themselves to be acting selflessly and best of all, X-Men 3 was erased from movie continuity.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Nothing else was even close for me
I liked GotG, but it was too comedic for me
"At my core I was never a hero, I was a hunter"
Winter Soldier was top notch.
Captain America: Winter Soldier wins hands down.
Guardians of the Galaxy would be very close if not for the obscene gesture by Star-Lord and bad language.
Guardians of the Galaxy for me. Seeing this movie in the theatre was one of those rare experiences where I went with little or no knowledge of the source material and was just carried away and immersed into a fun and engaging story. I laughed and laughed and laughed my way through this movie. I give it a ten-plus for entertainment value.
X-Men Days of Future Past followed closely by Captain America: the Winter Soldier.
