What are some fantastic series of collections of long form swords and sorcery, D & D type stuff?
Thanks!

I also own the book 'Crusades' published by Humanoids. I haven't read it yet but it looks pretty good.

Colossal Conan is indeed a very good choice. Other good long running S&S series are Warlord by Mike Grell and the European serie Thorgal. Both have amazing art. The recent Elric comic is also good.
"You don't ever quit. Not even to your last drop of blood. You got folks relyin' on you then you just can't afford to." Sean Noonan-Hitman #47
But that Conan collection is getting very high price now, used to be around 50-60 quid, now it's 100 pounds.
Savage Sword of Conan by Thomas/Buscema is as good as it gets!
Slaine: The Horned God is the standard. That's a must.
I don't want to spoil anything, but the book takes a very strange turn towards the end. It's very good with some great art, but... well, you'll see what I mean when you read it. I'm curious to hear what you think of it once you've read it.
Titan's been doing some great reprints of The Third Testmanent, which is somewhat similiar to The Crusades, but better, in my opinion. And their reprints of the Blondel Elric series are not to be missed.
Here's a thread I had made basically asking the sameish thing for a few more recommendations: http://community.comicbookresources....Fantasy-comics

I don't know if it's exactly what your looking for but there's a very funny parody of D&D style tabletop games called "The order of the Stick"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Order_of_the_Stick
If your quite familiar with tabletop games you'll probably get more out of it then someone like me who's never played D&D. It's filled with injokes and gags about the different versions of the game etc.
I think there's about 7 trades out but it is a webcomic so you can read some issues there before buying if you want:

I love Conan the Barbarian by marvel , Savage Sword of Conan by Marvel , Conan saga reprints of SSOC , Conan the Savage .
