Skipping all the mini's and just getting the main convergence series and then picking up the omni when it comes out.
I'm excited for all of these. As long as it doesn't interfere with the New 52 too much, then all is well and good. I never thought I'd see Rucka on The Question again.
This doesn't really instill me with hope. Thanks to "Convergence," the Wally West that carried the mantle of The Flash throughout the late '80s, all of the '90s and the better part of the 2000s is back, with his wife Linda Park, a fantastically rich and greatly missed character in her own right, and their children. It might be a happy reunion for fans and Wally -- unless the "Flashpoint" iteration of Wonder Woman forces Wally, Linda and the fans to experience an unhappy ending to the two-issue mini.
This all looks good...but it's a hell of a lot more than I spend on DC comics in a year...much less two months. I don't think my LCS is going to be ordering a lot as a lot of their DC buyers say they will either pick up selected books or just skip the whole event all together. This is going to be a big hit to some comic shops I'm thinking.
Original Superboy kon-el up against kingdom come superman, come on it should have made the list for sure.
boring! I'll just stick to the main convergence stories, all the minis seems really dated. LOL at the art n costumes.
I'll get them all, but it's going to be after the digital price drop. I'll buy the main Convergence series every week regularly though.
They all sound pretty good but Swamp Thing by Len Wein and Kelley Jones is absolutely amazing! Can't wait!
So all the old and young fans we can all agree the original Kon-el being back is the highlight of the whole thing right? Lol
I'll be picking up most, if not all, of these. No question.
Damn good to see the real JSA again. I miss them. *Sigh*
And yes, stephens2177. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the Kon-El I actually liked back in action again.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
Only books I really care about at this point are any of them featuring the Marvel Family (going to assume they are being called the Marvel Family and that the only place he's being called Shazam is on the Main Earth) and all the rest of the books that feature the GA characters...oh and the previously mentioned Swamp Thing books. But I'm happy for you and the rest of the Kon-el fans.
